Almejas al vapor ($14): Among the Mission's many striking Latin American-accented dishes, the Peruvian-style steamed clams stand out. What a mix: clams, rock shrimp, chorizo and roasted corn in a superbly fragrant broth whose foundation is Peru's intensely flavorful (but not spicy-hot) aji amarillo chile. We are talking lick-the-bowl good.
